About The Position

Haleon is seeking a Compliance Specialist - Packaging to join their Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. This role is crucial for supporting the site's alignment with Haleon's quality and manufacturing system requirements. The specialist will enhance the scope and effectiveness of compliance-related operational programs, including training, CAPA, root cause analysis, non-conformance reporting, audits, calibration verification, SOPs, and quality controls. The position is 100% onsite in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Requirements

Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical good manufacturing practices (cGMP) environment.
Experience in a compliance-related role, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of quality requirements applicable to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs, over-the-counter products, or medical devices.
Ability to support activities related to CAPA, non-conformances, audits, standard operating procedures, and quality controls.
Strong collaboration, communication, and rigorous prioritization skills in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

Support the organization in continuous alignment with Haleon's quality and manufacturing system requirements.
Contribute to compliance efforts related to the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical drugs, over-the-counter products, and medical devices.
Support the management and tracking of required training to ensure adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
Participate in the processing of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their implementation.
Support root cause analyses to identify compliance issues and recommend appropriate measures.
Take charge of deviations within the department.
Contribute to the preparation, documentation, and follow-up of non-conformance reports.
Participate in internal or external audits and support the preparation of teams for inspections.
Support calibration verification activities and ensure required checks are performed according to established procedures.
Contribute to the review, maintenance, and application of standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams to promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and continuous improvement.
