About The Position

Haleon is seeking a Compliance Specialist - Packaging to join their Montreal (Saint-Laurent) team. This role is crucial for supporting the site's alignment with Haleon's quality and manufacturing system requirements. The specialist will enhance the scope and effectiveness of compliance-related operational programs, including training, CAPA, root cause analysis, non-conformance reporting, audits, calibration verification, SOPs, and quality controls. The position is 100% onsite in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical good manufacturing practices (cGMP) environment.
  • Experience in a compliance-related role, ideally in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Good understanding of quality requirements applicable to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical drugs, over-the-counter products, or medical devices.
  • Ability to support activities related to CAPA, non-conformances, audits, standard operating procedures, and quality controls.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and rigorous prioritization skills in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the organization in continuous alignment with Haleon's quality and manufacturing system requirements.
  • Contribute to compliance efforts related to the manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical drugs, over-the-counter products, and medical devices.
  • Support the management and tracking of required training to ensure adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the processing of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and monitor their implementation.
  • Support root cause analyses to identify compliance issues and recommend appropriate measures.
  • Take charge of deviations within the department.
  • Contribute to the preparation, documentation, and follow-up of non-conformance reports.
  • Participate in internal or external audits and support the preparation of teams for inspections.
  • Support calibration verification activities and ensure required checks are performed according to established procedures.
  • Contribute to the review, maintenance, and application of standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams to promote a culture of compliance, ethics, and continuous improvement.
