Southeast Area Manager
About The Position
Southeast Area Manager - Mavagi Enterprises Inc. Mavagi Enterprises Inc. (MEI) is a nonprofit government contractor dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, including disabled veterans, through federal and state contract work. This is a people-first leadership role. We are hiring a Southeast Area Manager to oversee daily operations at our Robins Air Force Base and Tallahassee Courthouse contract sites in Georgia and Florida, with Moody Air Force Base joining the portfolio in April 2027. This position reports to the Director of Operations and also travels to Texas as needed for meetings and conferences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in site operations or facility management, ideally in a multi-site role
- Experience in government contracting, nonprofit operations, or workforce development preferred
- Experience supervising staff across multiple locations
- Comfortable with regular travel across Georgia and Florida, with periodic travel to Texas for company meetings and conferences
- Genuine passion for disability employment and veteran workforce inclusion
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations, staffing, and service quality across assigned Georgia and Florida contract locations
- Lead and support site-level supervisors and frontline staff, many of whom are individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans
- Ensure contract compliance and consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Travel regularly between sites, with periodic travel to Texas for company meetings and conferences
- Champion a compassionate, people-centered culture in every aspect of daily operations
