Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant or bar
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for quality execution
  • Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
  • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to stay organized and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and creating a supportive workplace culture
  • A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to jump in wherever needed

Responsibilities

  • Executing menu items to Shark Club standards across both prep and line stations
  • Leading day-to-day culinary operations during service while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
  • Ensuring consistency, freshness, quality control, and food safety at all times
  • Supporting labour, food cost, sales, and profit targets
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing kitchen team members and future leaders
  • Assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling across multiple kitchen positions
  • Creating a positive, high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork, and communication
  • Leading by example during high-volume service periods with confidence and composure
