Sourcing Manager (Promotional Merchandise)
About The Position
Reachdesk is seeking a Sourcing Manager to manage supplier relationships, negotiate rates, and oversee purchasing of promotional products and materials. The role shapes how the company sources, curates, and delivers branded merchandise at scale for global clients, supporting high-quality, on-brand products and a growing vendor network. The Sourcing Manager owns end-to-end sourcing in a fast-moving, high-volume environment, balancing speed, cost, and quality across multiple requests and stakeholders. Working closely with Swag, Production, and Sales, the role also builds product catalogs and lookbooks to support client campaigns.
Requirements
- Experience sourcing promotional merchandise or branded products and working directly with suppliers and decorators.
- Supplier, decorator, or vendor management experience, including negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements.
- Strong understanding of design principles and ability to communicate them clearly.
- Experience using promotional product software such as CommonSKU, Hoops, MPower Promo, Netsuite, or similar.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple workstreams across internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy across orders, pricing, and fulfillment.
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong business acumen and a cost-conscious mindset.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for promotional products and branded merchandise.
- Expand the vendor network as the business scales.
- Develop a vendor vetting process aligned with business values.
- Negotiate vendor pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable outcomes.
- Set pricing that balances market competitiveness with Reachdesk’s margin performance.
- Develop sustainable and scalable approaches to pricing swag decoration that maximize margins and reduce quoting time.
- Ensure purchasable items are accurately priced, stocked, and meet client quality standards.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and oversee quality control.
- Create commercially compelling product catalogs and lookbooks for sales teams and client use cases.
- Place orders with partner vendors and track production schedules.
- Oversee large or complex orders involving multiple vendors or custom product development.
- Track team performance against quarterly targets set by the leadership team.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics partners to streamline global fulfillment.
- Manage a high volume of concurrent sourcing requests while balancing speed, cost, and quality.
- Guide and support production specialists.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and order management.
- Establish and evolve SOPs and collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows and tools.
