About The Position

The Sourcing Manager V supports vendor onboarding and contract execution for a global network of vendors supplying human-annotated data for AI research and product development. The role connects sourcing managers, business partners, and vendors to move engagements from vendor selection through signed contracts and program launch, while supporting ongoing supplier management and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
• At least 4 years of outsourcing or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in technology or AI domains.
• Demonstrated success negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills across multiple levers beyond rates, including volume discounts, quality thresholds, speed to quality, and service levels.
• Program management experience working with business stakeholders, cross-functional groups, and third parties.
• Highly organized and structured thinker, able to synthesize complex information into executive-ready summaries.

Nice To Haves

• Experience sourcing annotations for machine learning, artificial intelligence, or large language model development.
• Experience managing high-volume data annotation sourcing programs.
• Experience working with business process outsourcing providers, crowdsourcing or freelance platforms, and boutique data vendors.
• Experience breaking down vendor cost models and understanding return-on-investment drivers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to execute sourcing and vendor management for GenAI data annotation and collection vendors.
• Lead contract negotiations that optimize value to the company.
• Manage vendor performance and governance in collaboration with the business.
• Provide market intelligence and sourcing updates to leadership.
