About The Position

Intradeco Apparel, founded in 1982 with roots in the textile industry since 1921, is a global vertical manufacturing company supplying quality casual clothing and thermal underwear to major retailers in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This is a full-time, on-site hybrid position in New York City with a salary range of $69,500 to $78,000 annually.

Requirements

Degree in Fashion/Supply Chain.
3-5 years of experience in apparel/textile industry.
Must have fashion industry experience.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Accuracy and efficiency driven.
Be able to handle data entry and spreadsheets quickly and accurately.
Understanding of product life cycle, from fibers through apparel manufacturing, planning and commercialization across a wide variety of apparel categories.
Strong fabric knowledge.
Strong understanding of price/cost relationship of materials options and the relative impact on retail price/target margins.
Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams within the company and overseas vendors in various countries.

Responsibilities

Supporting the procurement and supply chain processes.
Daily communication with global suppliers to track fabric trend and development, and price inquiry.
Following up on production processes.
Communicating product and packaging related information.
Working with cross-functional teams within the company.
Collaborating with various departments to understand their sourcing needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
Working extensively with existing global suppliers.
Tracking and managing developments covering various product categories (Sleepwear, Workwear, Activewear, Thermal etc.) to ensure timely delivery and alert any issues that may impact on performance.
Maintaining accurate records of procurement transactions.
Analyzing data to support decision-making and improve sourcing strategies.
Providing regular reports on sourcing activities and performance metrics.
Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and requirements.
Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Following up on all submittments from fabric L/D, QUALITY, BULK and TRIMS.
Handling shipping marks/sort code stickers for all non-WM shipments.
