Sourcing Co-op Student
About The Position
As a Sourcing Co-Op Student, you support the Buy Ready process throughout the Product Lifecyle. You assist the finished goods Sourcing team who ensure that cost and margin targets are achieved, vendor relationships are maintained, supply chain requirements are met, and contribute to our ability to scale a skilled, capable manufacturing base. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. In this role you will learn and/or use the following technology: Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Centric PLM system, Smartsheet, Power BI.
Requirements
- Completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education in business, supply chain management or related field
- Knowledge or desire to understand soft product/apparel construction
- Understand or have the desire to understand the product lifecycle – from ideation to consumer
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, both internally and externally
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks within tight deadlines
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- Effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

Responsibilities
- Maintaining data in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system such as Vendor Contact details, Cost sheet linking, Planning Category confirmation
- Entering and maintaining product costing
- RM local source quote creation
- Supporting in hosting on-site visits with our vendors
- Creating seasonal Sourcing task calendars based off company GTM calendar
- Preparing shipments of samples
- Analyzing YoY and SoS costing data
- Creating SOPs and process mapping of Sourcing driven processes
- Creating file for product cost comparisons
- Supporting in creation of Seasonal Kick Off Packages
- Creating summaries and analysis of Multi Source model
