We are seeking a driven and experienced Sourcer to join our talent acquisition team, specifically focusing on our critical Manufacturing and Production Engineering Operations. In this role, you will proactively identify, engage, and nurture top-tier talent across various hardware manufacturing, assembly, and related engineering disciplines to support our fast-paced, innovative environment. You will partner closely with fellow sourcers and recruiters to build pipelines for key production, integration, and manufacturing engineering roles, helping to scale our ability to build and deliver advanced defense technology. This role is open to 6 month contract.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4+ years in sourcing or recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for complex manufacturing, production, or hardware engineering roles within high-tech, defense, aerospace, or similarly complex hardware industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage, build rapport, and influence candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using data-driven approaches to evaluate sourcing effectiveness and make informed decisions about strategy.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other sourcing tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in manufacturing or hardware engineering sourcing within startups, defense, aerospace, automotive, complex hardware, or high-tech industries.
  • Expertise using Greenhouse, Gem, various AI tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong understanding of hardware manufacturing processes and production methodologies
  • Highly self-sufficient with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative without requiring constant supervision.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in tackling challenges, quickly troubleshooting issues, and devising innovative solutions on the fly.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, market research, and industry networks to uncover passive and active candidates with expertise in areas such as: Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Integration (Structural/Electro-Mechanical/Electrical), Avionics, Wire Harnessing, and Mechanical Assembly; Electrical/Electronics Manufacturing (e.g., PCBA assembly, test, and rework); Manufacturing Engineering (including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Test Engineering); Specialized Electrical Engineering (e.g., PCBA design) and Firmware Engineering (for manufacturing test and automation); Manufacturing Software/Automation Engineering (for factory systems, robotics, and test automation); Generalist manufacturing roles with a mix of electrical, mechanical, software, and quality skills.
  • Initiate and develop meaningful relationships with prospective manufacturing talent through tailored messaging and personalized communication, effectively conveying Anduril's mission and the impact of our opportunities.
  • Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for a diverse range of manufacturing and production engineering roles, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality talent for immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Partner effectively with recruiters to understand specific role requirements, production demands, and align sourcing strategies with broader operational and product development goals.
  • Analyze sourcing metrics and candidate data to refine and optimize sourcing strategies and workflows, contributing to continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function.
