About The Position

The Sound Designer designs and implements immersive soundscapes, effects, and music to enhance the overall theatrical experience and ensure performers are heard. The Sound Designer collaborates closely with directors and fellow designers to understand and bring to life the artistic vision of each production. They also collaborate with the tech team to seamlessly integrate sound into the production, considering the unique characteristics of the performance venue as well as the production budget.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Proven experience as a Sound Designer in a theatrical setting.
Proficiency in industry-standard software and equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse creative personalities.

Nice To Haves

Experience designing for shows featuring young performers is a bonus.

Responsibilities
