About The Position
Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro is seeking a dependable, patient team member to help older adults and families organize, downsize, pack, and prepare for relocation. The role works under the Sorting & Packing Team Lead alongside other crew members. It is a flexible, part-time position with project-based shifts, primarily on weekdays, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Pay is $20 per hour.
Requirements
- Patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail.
- Good teamwork, communication, and organization.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, pack, lift and carry boxes, and work in cluttered or multi-story homes, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Packing, moving, organizing, or senior service experience; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Sort and organize household belongings.
- Carefully pack fragile items, clothing, books, and household goods.
- Label boxes and organize them for moving or storage.
- Assist clients who may be anxious, overwhelmed, or indecisive.
- Identify valuables and items requiring client decisions.
- Follow Team Lead instructions and authorization procedures.
- Keep workspaces safe and organized.
