About The Position

This position programs sortation and packaging equipment for correct product flow and provides packaging supplies to production lines. The role is for team members currently working at the facility or complex. Applicants seeking to transfer from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the job’s physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.
• Must be a full-time team member and have completed the probationary period.
• Applicants with six or more points, more than one written warning, or a suspension on their disciplinary record within the last 12 months, or a Core Safety Mandate violation within the last 24 months, will not be considered.
• A team member in this position who reaches 9 points will be disqualified and become a non-job owner until assigned or bid to another position.
• Successful candidates may not bid again for six months unless a promotion to a higher job is available.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• This position is available only to team members currently working at this facility or complex.

Responsibilities

• Program sortation equipment according to the schedule and product flow.
• Supply packaging materials to production lines.
• Monitor product changes and notify affected team members.
• Complete daily paperwork and data entry.
• Assist with racking off trays and reworking product.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
