About The Position

This position is responsible for programming sortation and packaging equipment for correct product flow and providing packaging supplies to production lines. The role also involves monitoring product changes, communicating those changes to affected team members, and completing daily paperwork and data entry. Additional duties include assisting with racking off trays, reworking product, and performing other duties assigned by the supervisor.

The position involves working in a cold environment, climbing stairs, standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. This position is limited to team members currently working at the facility or complex; team members at another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform tasks with limited supervision.
• Must be a full-time team member and have completed the probationary period.
• Applicants with six or more disciplinary points, more than one written warning, a suspension within the last 12 months, or a Core Safety Mandate violation within the last 24 months will not be considered.
• Team members in the position who reach 9 points will be disqualified and become non-job owners until assigned or bid to another position.
• A successful candidate may not bid again for six months unless a promotion to a higher job is available.
• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Position is for team members currently working at this facility or complex.

Responsibilities

• Program sortation equipment based on the schedule and product flow.
• Supply packaging materials to production lines.
