About The Position

Her Campus Media is seeking creative, organized, growth-minded Content Creators with strong knowledge of Greek life and viral video content to develop engaging and trending content for @sorority’s social channels. The role involves creating multiple videos and posts each week, using a distinct voice and Greek life knowledge to connect with the audience, grow the following, and drive engagement. The Content Creator works closely with the social team to turn current trends into content that resonates with the audience.

The position is a paid, part-time internship requiring 10 hours per week. The Content Creator reports to the Audience Editor for development and support.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student or recent college graduate.
• Entrepreneurial, with strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience with content creation tools such as Canva and CapCut.
• Strong copywriting and video editing skills, and a passion for being on camera.
• Love of social media and awareness of the latest trends.
• Deep understanding of TikTok and Instagram from both creator and user perspectives.
• Keen interest in creating content about collegiate Greek life and the diversity of the sorority experience, including NPHC and multicultural sororities.
• Passion for the Her Campus Media mission.

Responsibilities

• Create multiple videos and posts per week for @sorority’s social channels.
• Stay current on social media trends and adapt popular and trending memes for the account.
• Write social copy that resonates with Gen Z.
• Schedule posts.
• Track and optimize content performance.
• Engage with community members across platforms.
• Conduct outreach to crowdsource and repost community-driven content with proper permission.
