About The Position
The Sonographer will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, daily checks of their work area, and department ancillary functions. They will also provide education to patients and families, maintain professionalism consistent with an ultrasound technologist, and demonstrate the minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities for age-specific patient populations.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography or proven competence through on-the-job training and specialized courses.
- Must have a knowledge base and experience to work independently.
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ADRMS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
