About The Position

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Sonographer for its Radiology Department in Bolivar, Missouri. The role supports diagnostic services during off-hours, providing timely and accurate imaging for local patients and people traveling from surrounding areas. Sonographers interview patients to gather medical history, explain ultrasound procedures, and perform diagnostic examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small-parts, and vascular studies. The position also involves collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results, delivering patient-centered care with attention to comfort, privacy, and clear communication, and following infection-control procedures and regulatory standards. This is a full-time position with a weekend work option. The weekend option consists of 12-hour evening/night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, totaling 36 hours of work paid as 44 hours. Shift differentials are $1.90 per hour for evenings and $2.25 per hour for nights.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and RVT.
Certification by the American Registry of Medical Sonographers.
Patient-care skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical ultrasound experience is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered.
