Sign On Bonus of $7,500 Sonographer Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Imaging Services Supervisor, this individual performs a variety of ultrasound procedures and related duties within their scope of practice and the policy and procedures of the department. The scope of testing provided is for all patient ages, gender, culture and background.

Requirements

Certification by the A.R.D.M.S. or registry eligible for sonography
Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures
Successful demonstration of competence in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider)
Experience with general computer applications
2 years of experience minimum required

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures and related duties within their scope of practice and the policy and procedures of the department.
Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes in workload, schedule, department function and procedures.
Participates actively in creating a positive and harmonious work environment by demonstrating teamwork and cooperative, responsive behaviors.
Meets/exceeds competency criteria specific to the task/duties of the position.
Completes all annual hospital-wide mandatory training within defined time frame.
Demonstrates competence in specified computer and ultrasound applications.
Utilizes time wisely, completing all patient exams in a timely manner, assisting others and performing departmental duties as needed.
Completes ASAP exams within one hour or as directed by radiologist and reports all stat exams within one hour.
