About The Position

The Sonographer operates imaging equipment and software, mostly ultrasound equipment, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires proficiency in operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The Sonographer position also requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Requirements

Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours
Obtained ARDMS or ARRT or CCI registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility)
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
1+ years of relevant experience (for Sonographer level)
2+ years of relevant experience (for Advanced Sonographer and Senior Sonographer levels)
2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area (for Advanced Sonographer level)
3 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 5 years of applicable experience (for Advanced Sonographer level)
4 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 7 years of applicable experience (for Senior Sonographer level)
