About The Position

As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer at Loyola Medicine, you play a vital role in supporting high‑risk pregnancies through advanced diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. About the Role Under the general supervision of the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) attending physician, and in accordance with department protocols, the MFM Sonographer performs advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations using high‑frequency sound waves and related diagnostic techniques. This role is responsible for producing, analyzing, and documenting high‑quality images and data to support the physician in diagnosing fetal and maternal conditions—ensuring accurate results and exceptional patient care.

Requirements

1 year of previous related job-related experience required
Associate degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education required
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) required
CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
New graduates- obtain certification within 3 months of hire date

Nice To Haves

AMA approved Sonography program preferred
Credentialing in specialty OB preferred
