About The Position

As a Commercial Solutions Engineer at NetApp, you will combine deep infrastructure expertise with strong discovery, engaging storytelling, and a passion for technical sales. You will own the technical sales engagement, proactively develop customer and partner relationships, and bring ideas that move opportunities forward. Success takes curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, and enthusiasm for selling.

  • A sales mindset: you enjoy uncovering needs, communicating value, navigating objections, and helping customers reach buying decisions.
  • Excellent discovery, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage technical and business audiences.
  • Initiative to build technical relationships independently and collaborate effectively with sales teams and channel partners.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into practical solutions, explain tradeoffs, and connect recommendations to business outcomes.

  • A curious, energetic, accountable approach and a commitment to winning as a team.
