About The Position

Nexxen is a company that provides flexible advertising solutions unified by data, empowering advertisers, agencies, publishers, and broadcasters globally with a technology stack comprising a demand-side platform (DSP), supply-side platform (SSP), and the Nexxen Data Platform. This Solutions Engineer position serves as the primary technical consultant for selling Nexxen’s technology solutions to prospective clients including ad agencies, brands, and partners. The role involves being the main technical partner to the sales team, responsible for pre-sales strategy, solution design, and technical expertise in developing and implementing client-level solutions, with the goal of making data meaningful and designing effective campaign solutions. The Solutions Engineer leads the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, acting as a key technical advisor across internal and external stakeholders. This role is crucial for owning solution strategy, shaping multimillion-dollar campaigns, and influencing revenue outcomes. The ideal candidate can articulate technology and solution positioning to both business and technical audiences, present confidently to C-level executives, and build long-term client relationships throughout the sales cycle, thriving in situations with limited direction to shape solutions and demonstrate possibilities to clients.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in a pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or solution engineering role within adTech, SaaS, or marTech.
  • 4+ years client-facing experience, with a proven record of engaging executive stakeholders and leading enterprise-level solution design.
  • Deep understanding of DSPs, DMPs, ad serving, and programmatic advertising ecosystems, including digital media buying, identity, measurement, and data integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence 7- and 8-figure pipeline opportunities.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to simplify complexity, author persuasive proposals, and deliver compelling C-level presentations.
  • Proven consultative abilities with a customer-first, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong technical acumen, including data storytelling, SQL proficiency, APIs, SDKs, and data integration processes.
  • Experience in digital advertising campaign setup, management, optimization, and reporting, with an eye toward measurable impact (lift, incremental reach, cost efficiency).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-stakes presentations and live product demonstrations that translate complex data into compelling stories for prospective clients.
  • Lead solution strategy for strategic opportunities, influencing deals ranging from $500K+ to multimillion-dollar annual agreements.
  • Own and author technical responses to RFIs/RFPs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and maximizing win rates by 20–30%.
  • Evangelize Nexxen’s platform at field events, trade shows, training seminars, and private executive sessions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights and best practices on how Nexxen’s technology can maximize campaign effectiveness and improve ROI by measurable margins.
  • Guide product integrations during the sales process, removing blockers and ensuring technical readiness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Support to ensure client needs influence roadmap priorities and GTM strategy.
  • Collect and document customer requirements, developing use cases that inform product development and roadmap investment.
  • Conduct market research and contribute to go-to-market narratives that differentiate Nexxen from competitors.
  • Travel up to 25% nationally to support regional sales teams and strategic clients.
