About The Position

As a Solutions Engineer, Partner Managed Services in Cisco's America’s Partner Organization, you will support the development of Cisco Powered Managed Services with the largest partners in the Americas. Your role will include understanding technical requirements for Cisco Powered Managed Services, developing reference architectures, operational tool integration, demo labs, positioning the value of the managed services solution to partners, providing technical enablement to our managed services providers (MSPs), helping execute mentored Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and assisting partners in design and implementation of solutions in their lab environments, contributing to the service creation process of new managed offers based on Cisco solutions, assisting in the acceleration of sales of existing managed services offers, and supporting partners in preparing for service audits. You will work with a diverse and inclusive team of Partner Account Executives, Business Development Managers, and Solutions Engineers along with the best partner ecosystem in the industry. You are passionate about helping partners deliver their full managed services potential and are excited by new technology. You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge to increase the effectiveness of the team. In this role, you will be the bridge between Cisco’s cutting-edge technology and our most strategic partners. You won't just be supporting architectures; you will be instrumental in scaling managed services that define how our customers consume technology in the AI era.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or supporting Cisco solutions.
• Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.
• Baseline experience and knowledge in at least one of the following architectures – Enterprise Networking, Security, Collaboration or Data Center.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of time to partner or Cisco offices across the US.

Nice To Haves

• Competitive solution experience a plus.
• CCNP Enterprise certification a plus.
• ITIL certifications a plus.
• Experience with, or general understanding of Managed Service Provider operations.
