The Solutions Engineer I – Imaging Optics serves as a technical liaison between managed Imaging customers, internal sales teams, and Edmund Optics’ global manufacturing and assembly sites for custom or modified optical components and imaging assemblies. This role provides technical sales support for managed and key unmanaged accounts, with a primary focus on evaluating imaging-related RFQs, confirming technical and business feasibility, supporting market-competitive pricing, and helping close custom imaging opportunities. Working under established guidelines and direction, the Solutions Engineer I reviews customer requirements, coordinates with relevant internal stakeholders, and helps ensure that proposed solutions align with customer needs, manufacturing and assembly capabilities, quality requirements, and business objectives.
