About The Position

Apogee Services Inc. is seeking a hands-on, highly motivated Solutions Developer to help modernize and connect their business systems and processes across the full project lifecycle — from estimating and engineering through fabrication and field installation. This role involves solving complex operational challenges, building integrated solutions, and working at the intersection of technology, engineering, and construction operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in: software or systems development, technical integration roles, or engineering/operations environments with strong systems exposure

Responsibilities

  • Drive Business Process Transformation: Analyze workflows across estimating, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, project management, and field operations. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through integration, automation, and digital workflows. Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical and operational requirements.
  • Develop Integrated Solutions & Prototypes: Support the design and development of connected systems and working prototypes across: CAD/BIM and engineering integrations, Material takeoff workflows, Procurement and supply chain coordination, Inventory and material tracking, Fabrication and production workflows, Project management and field operations. Participate in iterative development, testing, and refinement cycles.
  • Support Technical Development & Integration: Assist with system integrations using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines. Contribute to structured data models and operational datasets. Help develop custom applications, tools, or workflow enhancements where needed.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with operations, engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams. Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Coordinate with internal and external technical resources to support delivery.
  • Test, Improve & Scale: Participate in testing and validation of systems and workflows. Measure process improvements and operational impact. Document findings and contribute to long-term system architecture and roadmap planning.
