About The Position

Undertakes the design of hosting technology solutions based on the client’s service specifications, standards, policies, best practices and cost models, in order to meet client application business requirement and project/initiative deliverables.

Requirements

• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe, midrange server, enterprise storage and SAN, and personal computer system technologies.
• Knowledge of related best practices, OPS directory/messaging standards, standard facilities infrastructure/architecture management, facility service delivery processes, infrastructures policies, procedures and direction, cost models and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of leading edge technologies design criteria, security and recovery procedures, preparation of technical specifications for installation, testing and performance of integrated, multi-services systems.
• Basic knowledge of project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK), analytical tools and processes.
• Conceptual and analytical skills to assess and evaluate client needs.
• Hands-on development design / IT experience.
• Experience with system integration.
• Experience with solution design / multi-integration experience.
• Experience with API integration.
• 10+ years of experience on backend design and development using REST Web Services, JPA, hibernates, database, SQL, PL/SQL.
• Strong expertise in enterprise integration design, including experience with integration patterns, technologies, design principle and best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Framework, especially Spring Integration, and experience designing and building integration solutions using it.
• Strong knowledge of message-oriented middleware and enterprise service buses as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACEs) or MuleSoft and experience designing and building solutions using them.
• Experience with integration technologies, such as JMS, AMQP, or REST, and an understanding of how to use them in Azure context.
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies, such as JMS, AMQP, or REST, and an understanding of how to use them in Azure Integration context.
• Experience with data model, database such as Oracle, SQL server.
• Experience with cloud-based integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with integration technologies, such as APIs, Message Queues and Middleware, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
• Experience in designing solutions from business requirements, especially using UML, JEE, Service Bus, and ETL.
• Experience in System Analysis, requirements gathering and designing use cases.
• Experience with prototyping solution for presentation to the client or Sr. management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design of hosting technology solutions based on client's service specifications, standards, policies, best practices and cost models.

• Participate in the development of solutions and provide advice on short/long term solution service development activities.

• Plan, migrate, implement and sustain large complex system development projects.
• Evaluate application to client short and long term technology requirements.
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses for new technology requirements in planning and designing solutions.
• Design and develop large, complex, highly available, mission critical server applications.
• Assess conditions, technical performance and capacity of existing systems and determine need and feasibility of expansion, renovation or replacement.
• Facilitate and lead discussions with technical teams as well as business.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture within OPS, following standards and documentation artifacts and templates.
