About The Position

The Client Solutions Designer plays a pivotal role in our organization, bridging our technical solutions and clients' unique needs. This individual is responsible for understanding client and business requirements, designing optimized configurations of systems and applications, and ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions. The role involves extensive client interaction, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of our technology stack and applications to deliver customized solutions that drive client success. The individual must have a high level of understanding of the specific products we sell, including Real Estate, LPI, CPI, Escrow, Refund Plus, as well as core processing systems. As a senior position, this role requires mentorship and collaboration with Supervisors, Implementation Managers, Data File Analysts, Client Servicing, Operations as well as Client consultation. The Client Solutions Designer is tasked with enabling business areas to better service clients by having access to accurate and relevant details regarding clients’ implemented solutions. Additionally, the Client Solutions Designer is expected to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, then implement those solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
  • 8-10 years of work-related experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in system and/or application design, or a related field, with a proven track record of implementing successful IT solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Deep technical expertise in our core technologies and platforms, as well as a broad understanding of IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and presenting technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and the ability to oversee thorough testing processes.
  • Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Highly analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong client-service orientation, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with clients, client servicing, and business areas to understand their current business processes, needs, and challenges.
  • Translate these requirements into technical specifications across multiple applications and systems that guide the project.
  • Design efficient, scalable solutions that meet client and business area needs while considering future growth and technology evolution. This includes creating detailed system configuration plans and application deployment strategies.
  • Educate clients on how their data will be interpreted through our solutions, ensuring clarity and alignment with their business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, maintaining clear communication, meeting deadlines, and addressing any roadblocks swiftly.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from planning to implementation.
  • Submit documentation of the client need and change to the applicable ETG department.
  • Collaborate with ETG to ensure they thoroughly understand the desired outcome while also providing input on the best approach to implementing the solution.
  • Develop and present a test plan for implementation of the changes to the Change Advisory Board with the purpose of obtaining feedback and adjustments to the plan.
  • Manage, coordinate, and/or perform testing ensuring that all solutions meet our high standards and client expectations before deployment.
  • Communicates to affected areas approved changes with focus on enabling them to successfully support the service delivery.
  • Coordinates the identification of bugs and/or solution deficiencies and submits to technical teams for resolution while notifying client servicing, ETG, and operations areas of impacts.
  • Communicates and educates the organization on the client solution design and business rule change process, and advocates adherence to the process to ensure effective implementation of solutions and servicing of our clients.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the success of solutions and identify lessons learned.
  • Develop and conduct comprehensive training programs for internal users on new and existing products, systems, and applications, ensuring that teams are proficient and can provide ongoing support.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to our solutions and processes.
  • Consistently and accurately maintains and makes available critical information regarding clients’ implemented solutions and business rules, with a focus on providing business areas with the information necessary to service our clients.
  • Owns updates to documentation of solutions and business rules ensuring they are accurate and consistently updated.
