The Senior Solutions Delivery Manager is responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and with quality, based on the most current project baseline. This role defines and drives engineering vision and technical strategy aligned with business goals, guides architecture decisions, technology stack evolution, and system scalability. The manager ensures engineering solutions meet standards for performance, security, reliability, and maintainability, and that production systems meet Service Level Agreement/uptime commitments. Responsibilities include overseeing incident management, root cause analysis, and post-mortems, driving improvements in CI/CD, testing, observability, and release processes, and promoting DevOps, automation, and reliability best practices. The role involves close partnership with Product Management, Architecture, QA, Security, UX, and Operations to translate business requirements into executable technical plans. This role involves setting clear expectations, holding individuals accountable, motivating and challenging the team, and providing recognition and feedback to direct reports. Identifying gaps, areas of opportunity, eliminating single points of failure on critical systems, and identifying training needs are key. A succession plan to mentor and grow direct reports is essential, fostering an environment where individuals are challenged to step up and become leaders. Resource allocation in the Project Management Tool, including commitments and timely response to requests, is required to meet allocation goals. The manager partners with Business Relations Managers to influence realistic expectations on project scope and schedule based on internal capacity and collaborates with IT peers to resolve resource issues and communicate with senior management and business stakeholders. Bi-weekly project execution meetings are conducted to provide senior management with updates on the entire line of business portfolio. Ensuring appropriate Production Install Requests (PIR’s) are complete and of required quality for implementing new projects into production is also a responsibility. This position will supervise approximately 5 junior developers.
