About The Position

Geotab is seeking a Solutions Delivery Manager who will be responsible for driving telematics and video hardware programs from concept to commercial launch — managing timelines, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring products hit the market on time, on budget, and built to last. This role is for individuals who love owning complex programs end-to-end, thrive in a fast-moving hardware and software environment, and are keen to join an industry leader.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in program or project management within a technology or engineering organization, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful program throughout its lifecycle.
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Jira experience for managing work, tracking program progress, and coordinating across teams.
  • Proficiency in Gantt charting and critical path management using any tool (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or equivalent).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, resellers, partners, and senior leadership.
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) proficiency.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple programs simultaneously, and comfortable operating under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Professional Project Management certification (PMP) strongly preferred.
  • Agile/Scrum (PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with AI tools is a meaningful asset.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the full lifecycle of telematics and video hardware programs — from early engineering development through beta testing with live customer fleets, commercial launch in North America, and ongoing feature rollouts into rest-of-world markets.
  • Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables; creating and managing program timelines; running weekly development meetings; maintaining detailed action logs; and serving as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • During beta and pilot phases, engaging directly with end customers, resellers, and partners — coordinating device installation with field services, monitoring performance, gathering feedback, and driving resolution of issues before broader launch.
  • Post-launch, owning 90-day review cycles, tracking unit sales, monthly recurring revenue, warranty and return rates, and support case volumes to confirm the product is performing to standard.
  • Working closely with engineering, product management, marketing, sales, and operations teams to keep all workstreams aligned and accountable throughout the program.
  • Driving product initiatives throughout the full program lifecycle from conception to release, remaining accountable for timely delivery of all milestones.
  • Supporting complex, multi-disciplinary programs involving coordination across engineering, marketing, sales, and operations — ensuring vision alignment and accountability for all deliverables.
  • Leading project meetings, maintaining detailed meeting minutes, and following up on all action items to keep programs on track.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on all project-related aspects; preparing and presenting regular progress reports to sponsors and senior management.
  • Analyzing project issues and developing solutions; anticipating potential problems and proactively addressing them before they affect delivery.
  • Managing beta and pilot fleet programs with end customers — coordinating installation, monitoring device performance, gathering feedback, and driving resolution of field issues.
  • Conducting post-launch reviews (including 90-day milestones) tracking unit sales, MRR, warranty/return rates, and support case volumes to confirm product health.
  • Engaging in establishing best practices, templates, and tools to enhance organizational program delivery capabilities.
