About The Position

Pactum is seeking a procurement-focused, commercially astute Solutions Consultant for the U.S. market. This role blends customer advisory, solution selling, and procurement expertise, targeting individuals who understand enterprise sourcing and negotiation, can build executive trust, and translate complex customer challenges into compelling cases for change. The Solutions Consultant will not only support deals but also influence them, acting as a trusted advisor to large organizations, demonstrating Pactum's value, and feeding field insights back into product development and go-to-market strategies. Success will be measured by the quality of customer engagement, deal closure, and the insights provided to the team. This is a foundational role in the U.S. market with significant influence over Pactum's sales and scaling strategies.

Requirements

  • Based in the United States, ideally in Central or Eastern timezone.
  • 5+ years in procurement consulting or a solutions consulting role with deep procurement expertise, working with large enterprise organizations.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, category management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement technology platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
  • Compelling presenter capable of crafting and delivering persuasive narratives under pressure to senior audiences.
  • Skilled at running workshops and discovery activities to identify customer pain points and map them to solutions.
  • Analytical and data-driven, comfortable working with complex data to identify trends and develop recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills to manage timelines, resources, and multiple workstreams.
  • Consultative mindset focused on deeply understanding problems before proposing solutions.
  • Ability to move fast, respond well to requests, and prioritize effectively.
  • High ownership, low ego, with a focus on chasing outcomes and navigating ambiguity.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, negotiation, and the future of enterprise procurement.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client procurement processes, problems, and people to advise on negotiation strategies.
  • Understand clients' sourcing and procurement strategies, including category management and end-to-end process optimization.
  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions to identify pain points and map them to Pactum's capabilities.
  • Demonstrate how Pactum creates tangible value for customers and partners.
  • Build and deliver compelling narratives connecting Pactum's capabilities to business outcomes for senior audiences.
  • Construct rigorous, persuasive business cases highlighting Pactum's core competencies and specific customer relevance.
  • Collaborate with Account Management to ensure existing customers maximize Pactum usage and identify new opportunities.
  • Act as an internal champion for customer needs, feeding field insights back to Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to shape offerings and sales strategies.
