Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and design end‑to‑end telecom solutions including fiber connectivity, Ethernet services, IP/MPLS networks, DWDM/optical transport, fixed wireless, VoIP, and managed network services.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals, network diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), and solution architectures.
  • Validate solution feasibility by collaborating with Services, Network Engineering, Field Operations, and Planning teams.
  • Recommend optimal technologies and configurations based on performance, scalability, and cost considerations.
  • Ensure all proposed solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal engineering guidelines.
  • Participate in customer meetings, discovery sessions, and technical workshops to understand business challenges and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution overviews to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact during the presales cycle, addressing customer questions, objections, and solution‑specific concerns.

  • Work with internal teams to develop accurate cost models, pricing structures, and margin analyses for proposed solutions.
  • Prepare and validate quotes, service designs, and scope‑of‑work documents.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and assumptions associated with proposed solutions and communicate them clearly to Sales and leadership.
  • Partner with Product Management to provide customer feedback, identify market trends, and support new product development.
  • Collaborate with Network Planning to assess capacity, route availability, and build‑out requirements.
  • Coordinate with Project Management to ensure smooth handoff from presales to delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and technology partners to stay current on emerging telecom technologies.
