About The Position

The Solutions Architect performs complex and advanced architecture work spanning design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operations in support of system development, engineering analysis, and research. This role leads the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system, working directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations on the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions. This is a senior-level position expected to act independently as a technical authority within their area of expertise and to support Authorization to Operate (ATO) and accreditation activities.

Requirements

• Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed to meet contract requirements.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
• Experience (7–9 years), including: Developing, testing, and deploying back-end software in a widely used programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Go, Python, TypeScript, or .NET.
• Developing, testing, and deploying Java software using the latest versions of the Java Development Kit.
• Understanding system architecture, assessing vulnerabilities, and planning mitigations.
• Implementing and using backend frameworks such as Java Spring, Node.js, Go Gin, AngularJS, React, Next.js, NestJS, Google Web Toolkit, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Software development lifecycle processes, including SAFe Agile development.
• Software design patterns and antipatterns.
• Systems design.
• Development tools such as Git, Nexus, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins, and Ansible/Ansible Tower.
• Frontend, backend, and API design.
• Leading multiple teams in technical design and implementation.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing technical, functional, and performance issues in a cloud environment.
• Designing, planning, and managing the data migration process.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced architecture work in design, evaluation, planning, testing, and operation in support of system development, engineering analysis, and research.
• Lead the integration of processes and methodologies to ensure the performance of the total system.
• Work directly with senior technical personnel, program managers, and external organizations in the planning, oversight, execution, and evaluation of multiple complex technical solutions related to a program's system and technical product development.
• Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of scientific principles and practices across one or more technical disciplines.
• Serve as a liaison on technical matters for staff and customers, and act independently on technical issues within area of expertise.
• Support Authorization to Operate (ATO) and accreditation processes.
