About The Position

ITG requires a talented Solutions Architect to work on the development of a range of web-based products and tools, with a primary focus on websites driven by the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS. The Solutions Architect will serve as an internal Adobe AEM consultant, guiding teams and clients on the best approaches for developing customer-facing digital platforms and experiences. This role involves providing technical guidance and consultancy on recommended technical and architectural strategies for various implementations, from simple brochure sites to complex, large-scale projects. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, project estimation, and software design. Experience with integrating multiple systems and APIs, particularly building and consuming microservices for functionalities like e-commerce, digital asset management, or product configuration, is crucial. The role operates within an Agile (SCRUM) environment, requiring prior experience in such settings.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience with either HTML/JavaScript or Java.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong logical/problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation.
  • Excellent technical background in building web applications, preferably with AEM or a similar CMS.
  • Experience working within Agile (SCRUM) processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to business analysts by attending customer meetings and supporting solution design during discovery and ongoing projects.
  • Analyze and propose technical solution options based on business requirements.
  • Gather technical and non-functional requirements and advise on their impact on solutions.
  • Perform technical architecture design, preparing high-level designs for customer review.
  • Prepare technical documentation to guide development teams.
  • Support project managers and scrum masters in providing high-level estimates.
  • Validate and collaborate with teams to ensure estimates are realistic and completed to specification and time.
  • Collaborate with project management and business analysts on roadmap planning.
  • Work closely with development teams during design and implementation phases, providing support for challenging solution implementations.
  • Act as an interface between development and third-party infrastructure teams for analysis, optimization, and high-level issue triage.
  • Conduct technical governance and code reviews.
