About The Position

Noom is looking for a Solutions Architect to bridge the B2B Engineering and Commercial teams, shaping how partners connect with Noom’s platform. This role involves joining commercial conversations as a trusted technical partner, providing prospective customers with a clear understanding of Noom's technology, security, and AI capabilities. The Solutions Architect will translate partner goals into sound architecture, build on established systems and patterns, and guide integrations that work seamlessly within Noom’s platform, from initial discovery through integration. Noom's B2B Engineering team focuses on powering partnerships that expand the reach of their healthcare platform. They build the infrastructure and integrations necessary to connect health plans and enterprise customers with Noom, collaborating closely with commercial teams to develop scalable solutions that meet partner needs. This role is crucial for connecting engineering innovation with business growth, thereby enhancing the platform's capabilities and reach.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, or similar partner-facing technical individual contributor with significant architectural ownership.
  • Strong architectural decision-making skills, with the ability to design solutions that fit an existing platform based on ambiguous partner requirements, rather than solely greenfield designs.
  • Comfort presenting technical, security, and AI topics to diverse audiences including commercial, operational, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Proven ownership of RFPs, security questionnaires, AI reviews, or equivalent partner diligence packages.
  • Hands-on integration experience (APIs, data exchange, SSO/auth, healthcare or enterprise partner integrations preferred), including sufficient coding ability for prototyping, debugging, and shipping small components.
  • Strong written communication skills for creating architecture notes, partner-facing materials, and internal status updates.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional work without formal authority and to escalate issues cleanly when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in digital health, health plans, PBMs, or enterprise B2B partnerships.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and security review norms (e.g., questionnaires, SOC2/HITRUST-style requests) without needing to be the compliance owner.
  • Experience shaping or improving internal tooling for reviews and integrations.
  • Prior work with sales/partner teams in a deal-support model.

Responsibilities

  • Join partner commercial and technical discussions, capture architectural implications, and map them onto existing Noom systems, interfaces, and patterns.
  • Own the technical shape of partner solutions: APIs, data exchange, SSO/auth, security/AI review constraints, and integration sequencing, prioritizing reuse, extension, and fit over one-off designs.
  • Represent Noom technology (tech, security, AI) in partner meetings with sufficient depth to ensure alignment between commercial and engineering teams, escalating when a higher-level discussion is necessary.
  • Own partner RFP and AI/security review responses, coordinating with internal teams and utilizing (and helping to shape) available tooling.
  • Act as the technical lead for the partner workstream during integration periods, overseeing architecture, sequencing, clear handoffs with Engineering and Commercial, and pragmatic coding or prototyping.
  • Maintain a reliable source of truth for open partner architectural requests, review status, and integration blockers to ensure alignment between Engineering and Commercial teams.
  • Own the technical terms of partner agreements (data flows, integration scope, SLA feasibility), identifying technical implications early to inform Legal regarding contract language and liability terms.
  • Surface partner requests that impact the roadmap to Product early, prioritizing alignment with existing direction and escalating when a request necessitates a roadmap change.
