About The Position

Become the go-to expert in strategic security solutions for our clients and our sales force. Clients need our help. Their security posture cannot keep up with the pace of change their internal and external stakeholders demand — and you can solve those issues for them. As a Security Solutions Architect, you will design comprehensive security solutions that span on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, helping customers address complex challenges across device, identity, data protection, threat management, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their business objectives and security requirements, translating these into robust technical architectures and solution roadmaps. You will also define and scope the services required to implement these solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards. As a key technical leader, you will provide guidance throughout the sales cycle, including presenting solutions to stakeholders, supporting proof-of-concept efforts, and transitioning solution designs to engineering and delivery teams for implementation. Your role will be pivotal in creating customer roadmaps that drive security platform adoption, supported by complementary professional and managed services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in selling, architecting, and/or implementing security solutions, including pre-sales support in business-to-business scenarios.
  • Extensive experience with device, identity, network, data, and cloud security technologies and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security solution design, security platforms, and defense-in-depth principles and best practices.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing security solutions for diverse customer environments.
  • Experience working with both technical resources and business leaders to establish trust and credibility across an organization.
  • Ability to embrace both the technical and business development responsibilities of the role, and to identify process improvements that help everyone work more efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and customers, and to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • A learner’s mindset — always curious about new technologies and how they impact customers’ business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • University degree or college diploma preferred — or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with a technology reseller or manufacturer is preferred.
  • Technical security certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH). If not currently certified, commitment to achieving and maintaining relevant certifications as they evolve.
  • Include a list of current and previously held certifications with your application.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge the gap between sales and security strategy by acting as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and customers.
  • Share current insights on cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and advancements in security technologies.

  • Challenge and elevate customer thinking by leveraging deep security expertise to help customers understand what it takes to build a resilient, compliant, and scalable security posture.
  • Confidently challenge assumptions with well-researched, tailored insights, showcasing innovative approaches to risk mitigation, threat detection, and secure digital transformation.
  • Drive business impact by increasing revenue and gross profit across security products and services — including identity and access management, threat protection, network and data security, and security operations.
  • Provide program, pricing, product, and promotion expertise to support the sales organization, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices.
  • Partner with Sales Account Executives and Security Sales Executives to engage customers directly, early in the sales cycle, where they need to modernize their security posture across all pillars of security.
  • Lead and execute Security Platform Assessments through data collection, review, and roadmap creation of the right product and services solution for the customer.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements and help them choose the right platform and complementary security solutions to reduce risk and improve their posture.
  • Design and develop modern, holistic security solutions tailored to customer requirements and create detailed technical documentation and solution blueprints.
  • Scope and define the services required for deploying security solutions, ensuring solutions combine technology with the implementation and deployment services that support customer adoption.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during the pre-implementation phase, ensuring the services delivery team is fully briefed on expected project outcomes.
  • Participate in assessments and audits of existing security architectures to ensure designs meet customer needs.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Create awareness of strategic security solutions within sales teams and enable them through education on security concepts.
  • Deliver high-quality customer support while meeting service-level objectives around responsiveness.
  • Drive business results through increased attach rates, complete solution design, and services selling.
