Solutions Architect - Digital Pathology
About The Position
Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Solutions Architect for its Digital Pathology team. This role is responsible for clearly communicating complex and technical product information, including IT and networking details, to various customer stakeholders. The Solutions Architect will also serve as a technical expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and related software products. A key aspect of the role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the competition and market through competitive literature and field surveillance. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and will be based remotely in Central, US, covering Texas and Oklahoma.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three years of medical imaging or devices sales and support experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM
- Minimum 1 year experience working with complex IT infrastructure in Healthcare settings.
- Ability to travel – Travel overnight as necessary (estimated at 50%) for all pre- and post-sales activities, such as customer appointments, trade shows and customer training.
- Customer call activity will be a balance of existing customers accounts to expand our current base, meeting with active opportunities and prospecting for new opportunities in the assigned geography
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual product sales goals set for the territory.
- Execute product demonstrations for clients at the correct sales stage in SFDC, maintaining a closed/won success rate of >60%.
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance.
