About The Position

The Solution Principal - AI Infrastructure shapes complex AI infrastructure opportunities from early executive engagement through solution strategy, delivery approach, and customer confidence. The role works closely with AI Specialist Solutions Architects, sellers, partner teams, and delivery leaders to position Insight as a trusted advisor for enterprise AI infrastructure decisions. The position focuses on strategic guidance through the pursuit lifecycle, while aligned architects and engineering teams lead detailed technical design and execution.

Requirements

• Experience as a senior strategic advisor in complex enterprise infrastructure, AI infrastructure, cloud, data center modernization, or hybrid platform opportunities.
• Ability to lead executive and senior technical conversations while leaving detailed bill-of-materials creation, component-level sizing, and hands-on design execution to aligned Solutions Architects and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of GPU-accelerated infrastructure, AI platform architecture, hybrid deployment models, and the operational considerations for moving from pilot to production.
• Ability to translate customer business priorities into solution strategy, delivery approach, risk considerations, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build trust in priority accounts by engaging customer executives and senior technical stakeholders on AI infrastructure strategy, economics, governance, operating models, and time to value.
• Frame customer decisions so Insight is positioned as a strategic advisor rather than solely as a hardware, platform, or bill-of-materials provider.
• Remain engaged throughout the pursuit lifecycle on strategy, value, delivery approach, risk, and executive alignment, while AI Specialist Solutions Architects lead the detailed technical motion.
• Guide deal strategy in partnership with sellers, GTM leaders, AI Specialist Solutions Architects, delivery leaders, and practice leadership.
