About The Position

This role is crucial for the precise mixing of allergen extracts, strictly adhering to established protocols. The technician will be responsible for the preparation of allergen extracts in a laboratory or clinical setting, ensuring accuracy, sterility, and proper documentation. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently under indirect supervision.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile preparation.
• Basic understanding of allergen extracts and immunotherapy.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Responsibilities

• Prepare allergen extract mixtures accurately, following standardized recipes and protocols.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to safety and sterility standards.
• Label, package, and store mixed extracts appropriately.
• Document lot numbers, expiration dates, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.
