About The Position

TISTA Science and Technology is seeking a Solution Lead to join its growing team. The role leads engineering teams through sprint planning and production deployment under the VA DevSecOps Release Framework, oversees release gates, code scanning, and deployment packages, and leads integrations with VA-related systems. The Solution Lead also develops solution roadmaps, advises the VA on modernization and emerging technologies, runs SAFe events across teams, and reports solution status using VA tools. The position is remote in the USA and requires the ability to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Requirements

• 13+ years of experience, including 8+ years in software engineering at Senior / Level III.
• 3+ years as a federal technical or solution lead.
• Experience delivering under a federal DevSecOps release framework with CI/CD and release gates.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• One or more of: SAFe APSM, SAFe POPM, SAFe Architect, SAFe Agilist, TOGAF, or COBIT.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer or Specialist in Cloud-Native Applications.
• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 / Moderate Risk Public Trust and a VA PIV credential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with integrations involving VistA, MVI, iFAMS, or Oracle Health EHR.
• Experience with AI/ML or supply chain optimization solutions.
• Experience with ServiceNow/Nuvolo or Maximo solution design.

Responsibilities
