About The Position

We're a stealth-mode cybersecurity startup with experienced founders and strong backing. We're building offensive security technology for large organizations. We are post product-market-fit and looking to scale up operations. In this role, you'll be our technical authority in the field and the customer's technical point of contact through pre-sales, winning the deal from a technical standpoint. This includes the first deep session, scoping, evaluation, and handoff once they go live. You'll work closely with sales on deal support, with our field technical lead on scoping and delivery, with research on output quality, and with product on what we build next.

Requirements

  • Offensive security background: pentester, red teamer, or security researcher, or applicable solutions in the field.
  • Understanding of how an attacker thinks and how to convey it to both executives and technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience leading enterprise evaluations or technical POVs.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of winning a methodology argument with a customer's security staff without alienating them.
  • Clear writing skills for technical narratives and questionnaire answers.
  • Comfort with a fast-moving product is more important than familiarity with specific tooling.
  • Problem-solving abilities: independent, capable of solving issues and writing code.

Responsibilities

  • Own the evidence and narrative: what we lead with, how the technical story gets told, and whether it survives a customer red team reading it line by line.
  • Own technical scoping: scope, environment topology, access model, exclusions, technical success criteria. Identify potential issues before the evaluation starts and design around them, descoping, or documenting them as known risks with the champion.
  • Own evaluation execution: access setup, kickoff prep, monitoring, checkpoints, readout content. Escalate scope changes and platform issues rather than absorbing them.
  • Provide Tier 1 support during a live evaluation: act as the customer's first point of contact during a PoV, resolving issues or routing them with sufficient detail for action.
  • Conduct enterprise security reviews: provide technical answers to questionnaires, perform architecture reviews, address privacy and data-handling questions, and meet deployment-model requirements. Build a reusable answer library to streamline future enterprise engagements.
  • Deliver technical demos and methodology sessions: explain how the technology works, its surrounding controls, and how it compares to alternatives. Answer the critical question of how to ensure the results are real.
  • Build and maintain the demo environment and reusable assets: create and manage the demo environment, seeded scenarios, playbooks, demo scripts, a recorded demo library, and persona talk tracks to support the GTM team.
  • Manage handoff and product feedback: collaborate with GTM and Product to ensure customer expectations are met, providing feedback and insights to shape the product roadmap.
