About The Position

Synera is seeking a Solution Engineer who is passionate about automation and AI, and thrives on tackling complex challenges. This role involves collaborating with customers to craft innovative workflows that make a real impact. As a Solution Shark, you will work with exceptional engineers to build workflows connecting over 80 tools (CAD, simulation, costing, and more) and turn complex problems into automated solutions. You will have a front-row seat to how companies like BMW, Airbus, and NASA solve their toughest engineering challenges. The ideal candidate uses AI and other tools to work smarter and faster, and is excited by the prospect of solving diverse puzzles.

Requirements

• Technical background in the Computational, Automation or Mechanical Engineering field.
• Proven experience in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to showcase business value with technical solutions.
• Experience with CAD/CAE tools (e.g. OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, LS-DYNA etc.) and scripting (Python, C#).
• Deeply engaged with AI for solving technical challenges.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and enjoy collaborating with customers, explaining complex topics in a clear, engaging manner.

Responsibilities

• Work with exceptional engineers to build workflows that connect 80+ tools (CAD, simulation, costing, and more).
• Turn complex problems into automated solutions.
• Kick off the week with Customer Success (CS) and Tech Sales meetings to align on key priorities.
• Create teaser demos for leading automotive or aerospace companies to help the Sales team land faster.
• Participate in hackathons at customer sites to develop innovative solutions.
• Join weekly meetings with customers to solve their questions and consult them on the best approach to use Synera's software.
• Join knowledge exchange sessions with fellow Solution Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Answer incoming support tickets to ensure that the time to first response stays below 4 hours.
