About The Position

Dematic is looking for an expert Solution Consulting Manager with knowledge of warehouse and distribution processes and material handling technologies. The role involves directing consulting and concepting teams, managing client relationships, supervising innovative automation development, and promoting continuous progress in the Solution Development department. As a people leader, this individual is responsible for building and developing a high-performing consulting team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and talent development. The role requires encouraging a culture of accountability, continuous learning, collaboration, and customer focus while helping team members grow their technical, consulting, and leadership capabilities. The Manager, Solution Consulting serves as a crucial collaborator with customers, sales, product management, and Solution Development teams, providing technical oversight, supporting strategic customer engagements, and ensuring the successful creation and validation of material handling automation solutions that align with customer requirements and business goals. The role holds accountability for balancing business priorities, upholding solution quality, and building the team's capabilities to meet both present and future organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in material handling, automation, warehouse operations, solution development, engineering, or consulting leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and developing technical or consulting professionals.
• Advanced knowledge of material handling technologies, automation systems, and software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex operational challenges and solution alternatives.
• Expertise in automation solution development, concept validation, and system building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with a Graduate degree or relevant experience are preferred.
• Adaptable leader with PMP, Lean, or related certifications preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%. May include international travel.
