About The Position

As a Solution Consultant at Neptune, you will play a crucial role in the company's hypergrowth journey to revolutionize how enterprises build and deploy applications with their platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor and technical expert, guiding customers on their digital transformation journeys. Your responsibilities will include showcasing the value of Neptune's innovative platform, collaborating closely with sales teams and customers to develop solutions that address real-world challenges and drive meaningful outcomes. This is a remote role, but requires willingness to travel across the US based on customer needs.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • Solid background or working knowledge of SAP is crucial for this role.
  • Deep understanding of technology, particularly in areas such as process improvement, integrations, automation and UI/UX.
  • Solution-oriented mindset, focusing on finding creative solutions that address customer needs and deliver tangible value.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of the platform and solutions, translating technical features into tangible business benefits.
  • Excellent crafting of compelling narratives and impactful presentations, demos, and voice-overs.
  • Strong consultative skills and judgment, actively listening to customer needs, asking insightful questions, and offering tailored solutions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Proactive and results-driven, taking initiative and working independently to deliver high-quality results.
  • Solid understanding of Neptune's platform, or the ability to quickly acquire and master this knowledge.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.

Nice To Haves

  • Practical experience using SAP applications in a business setting.
  • Foundational knowledge on MEDDPPIC, value-based selling or command of the message.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with account teams and customers, leveraging technical expertise, industry knowledge, and a solution-oriented mindset to develop innovative solutions that address real-world challenges and deliver tangible value. This will involve travel to customer sites to build relationships, run engagements and deliver impactful presentations and workshops.
  • Lead the technical and solution discovery workstreams, assessing customer needs, defining scope and success criteria, and clearly articulating the value proposition of Neptune's platform and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver engaging presentations, demos, proof-of-values, and discovery workshops, tailoring the approach to specific customer needs and personas.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through their digital transformation journeys and providing expert guidance on solution implementation and optimisation.
  • Build and maintain deep subject matter expertise across Neptune’s platform and solutions, staying abreast of the latest features and capabilities.
  • Create high-quality documentation, presentations, and other resources to support sales efforts and empower the go-to-market teams.
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback, advocating for customer needs and collaborating with product and engineering teams to drive innovation.
  • Occasionally represent Neptune at marketing events, engaging with developer communities, and deliver training and enablement sessions to partners and customers.
