About The Position

Resultant is seeking a strategic, technically adept Solution Architect with a strong background in project delivery and a preference for experience in managed services. This role is crucial for developing and implementing scalable IT managed service solutions tailored to the needs of midmarket clients. The Solution Architect will act as a vital link between sales and delivery teams, offering pre-sales architectural support, technical guidance, and ensuring seamless transitions of complex projects from sales to delivery. The goal is to ensure successful project and service delivery for clients while maintaining profitability for Resultant.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on specific industry verticals.
  • Prior experience in managed services is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture.
  • Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and other common cloud-based solutions.
  • Proven track record in project delivery, precise solution estimation, and effective technical team leadership.
  • Experience in mentoring engineering talent and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Robust analytical skills with a strong foundation in business analysis techniques and complex solutioning processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong multitasking skills, adaptability to change, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required (approximately 10%).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal leaders, external partners, prospects, and clients to gather functional and non-functional requirements for tailored industry solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical analyses and architectural designs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key prospect and client personnel, including C-level executives.
  • Mentor and develop other engineers, promoting technical growth.
  • Ensure all solutions meet client objectives and adhere to architectural best practices.
  • Support the delivery team by providing clear guidance on solution designs and addressing obstacles.
  • Initiate and manage proof of concept projects to validate solutions.
  • Drive cross-departmental collaboration by setting up integration frameworks.
  • Assess and enhance client technologies and processes, advocating for upgrades.
  • Champion process efficiencies and consistency across project deliveries.
  • Engage in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including discovery sessions, proposal development, and project team coordination.
  • Evaluate and optimize cloud-based and on-premises systems, recommending modernization strategies.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud-native technologies and provide implementation advice.
  • Articulate technical challenges and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bridge the gap between business development, service delivery, and product teams.
  • Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) internally and externally.
  • Act as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, including client meetings, RFP responses, and solution presentations.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable service design and pricing models.
  • Collaborate with sales to drive pipeline growth and close high-value opportunities.
  • Draft technical proposals for projects and services.
  • Present winning technical proposals.
