About The Position

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering solutions that enable clients to achieve their business and process objectives. The role includes leading requirement-gathering sessions and developing solution architectures across multiple applications or product families within the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance across North America, India, Asia-Pacific, and the UK
  • Experience with Majesco components such as ICD (Insurance Content Designer) and ICM (Insurance Configuration Manager)
  • Proficiency in UML-based analysis and design using tools such as Rational Rose, Together, or similar
  • Experience in configuring business rules and workflow engines
  • Strong design and development experience using object-oriented programming, preferably within the Java technology stack
  • Expertise in both high-level and low-level solution design
  • Proven experience conducting requirements workshops and understanding customer business processes
  • Ability to apply frameworks for designing and reviewing both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience leading teams of software engineers in implementing solution architecture
  • Strong knowledge of database systems with a clear understanding of RDBMS concepts

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solution architecture across applications or product suites within the organization
  • Enable clients to successfully meet defined project objectives
  • Lead solution design for product implementation initiatives
  • Facilitate and lead client requirement-gathering sessions
  • Support project execution from both solution and technology perspectives
  • Prepare and review effort estimations
  • Contribute to presales activities and solution proposals
  • Support quality control (QC) and ensure adherence to delivery standards
