About The Position

Our client in McLean, VA, is looking for a remote Solution Architect to join their team! This is a hybrid/full-time/1-year contract position. The role involves applying expert-level technical expertise across multiple Salesforce domains, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities like Flow, Apex, and LWC. The Solution Architect will lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across applications, integrations, and third-party tools. They will manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving application configurations, customization, and development; integrations with middleware platforms, APIs, and event-driven architectures; and data migration, ETL processes, and data governance. The role also includes driving the adoption of Salesforce best practices, developing architecture standards, collaborating with stakeholders, leading complex projects, and evaluating Salesforce apps and solutions. Requirements

  • Expert-level technical expertise across multiple Salesforce domains (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud).
  • Proficiency in platform capabilities like Flow, Apex, and LWC.
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable, performant, and secure Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience managing Salesforce architecture for applications, integrations, and third-party tools.
  • Experience with application configurations, customization, and development (Apex, Visualforce, LWC).
  • Experience with integration middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft), APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data governance within Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, including DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
  • Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with IT staff, subject matter experts, business partners, and clients.
  • Experience designing and reviewing Salesforce solutions for alignment with organizational strategies, data governance policies, and technical standards.
  • Experience leading large and complex Salesforce projects.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders on business case assessments, project justifications, ROI analyses, architectural reviews, and RFP evaluations.
  • Experience evaluating and recommending Salesforce apps, add-ons, and AppExchange solutions.
  • Experience providing leadership and guidance to project personnel and architects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving: Application: Configurations, customization, and development with Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
  • Manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving: Integrations: Middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft), APIs, and event-driven architectures.
  • Manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving: Data: Data migration, ET processes, and data governance within Salesforce environments.
  • Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices, including DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
