About The Position

ERP Suites is looking for a Solution Architect with deep JD Edwards Homebuilder expertise. In this role you'll turn complex homebuilding business challenges into practical, scalable JD Edwards solutions. You'll own the solution lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through architecture design, proposal development, implementation guidance, and post-project review, serving as the trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on functional and technical experience with the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Homebuilder Management module.
• Practical understanding of homebuilding and residential construction operations—land and lot management, sales and contracts, options and upgrades, vendor bidding, construction scheduling, and job costing.
• Experience designing enterprise technology solutions and translating business requirements into practical technical designs.
• Experience facilitating discovery sessions, gathering requirements, and documenting solution designs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and map complex business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence decisions through collaboration.
• Ability to estimate implementation effort, identify risks, and recommend practical delivery approaches.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience implementing or upgrading JD Edwards Homebuilder at a production homebuilder or residential developer.
• Experience working in-house at a homebuilder, or consulting for multiple homebuilding clients.
• Consulting or professional services experience supporting multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Experience participating in both presales solution architecture and post-sales implementation.
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience integrating JD Edwards with CRM, estimating, warranty, or field/construction management platforms.
• Experience with AI technologies, automation platforms, or modern integration frameworks.
• Oracle JD Edwards certifications, or certifications in cloud platforms or enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions to understand client business processes, objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable, practical solution architectures and functional designs.
• Produce solution architecture documents, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Serve as the Homebuilder subject matter expert during presales engagements, helping clients identify the best solution for their business.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements sessions with executives, business users, and technical stakeholders.
• Present solution recommendations with clear business and technical justification.
• Support proposal development, project estimation, and implementation planning.
• Set realistic expectations regarding project scope, timelines, costs, and delivery approach.
• Maintain architectural ownership throughout project delivery to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, developers, and client teams to resolve design questions and implementation challenges.
• Identify risks, technical constraints, and scope changes early, recommending practical solutions when adjustments are needed.
• Review implementation progress to ensure alignment with architectural standards and client objectives.
• Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuously improve delivery methodologies and best practices.
