About The Position

At PNC, our people are our greatest differentiator and competitive advantage in the markets we serve. We are all united in delivering the best experience for our customers. We work together each day to foster an inclusive workplace culture where all of our employees feel respected, valued and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success. As a Solution Architect Expert within PNC's Corporate & Institutional Banking organization (C&IB) you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Lead AI Solution Architect, Commercial Lending Modernization We are rebuilding our commercial lending technology with agentic AI, starting with a full rewrite of the legacy commercial real estate loan servicing platform. The Lead AI Solution Architect is the senior technical lead embedded in a small, forward-deployed team of AI engineers and AI agents doing that work. The person will own the target architecture for the new platform, make the key design calls in real time, and stay hands-on through delivery. They won’t hand designs off to someone else. This is the first of several AI-led modernization pilots, and it sets the pattern for the rest. After servicing, the program moves into origination, underwriting, compliance, funding, booking and accounting, about 2-3 years in total. This person shapes what modern commercial lending looks like at PNC.

  • Strong cloud-native architecture background: microservices, APIs, event-driven design, containers/Kubernetes, AWS or Azure
