About The Position

This position involves operating and driving various types of trucks, one (1) ton and up, including stake-type dump trucks, and associated mechanical equipment. The role also includes performing routine maintenance like lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment. Additionally, the driver will undertake manual tasks such as loading and unloading materials and street clean-up, which may involve collecting dead animals, broken glass, and other debris from the street. The role operates under the supervision of an assigned supervisor.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate and drive trucks, one (1) ton and up, including stake-type dump trucks.
• Ability to operate mechanical equipment associated with the job.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including loading and unloading material.
• Ability to perform street clean-up duties.
