About The Position
Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Solder Dip Operator/FGS. Responsible for the efficient running of Solder Dip & Finished Goods on 1st shift within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience helpful.
- May have occasional exposure to dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that fall below acceptable limits as established by current government standards
- Adheres to company quality and safety requirements
- Must wear required PPE
- This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.”
Responsibilities
- Apply a new smooth coating of solder of the wire leads, of the completed capacitor, to meet solder ability requirements, using the Unity Design Machine along with the hand solder pots.
- Perform daily testing and solder analysis
- Record critical data on lot traveler ticket
