About The Position

Moss is hiring a Solar General Laborer to support a solar project in Okeechobee, Florida. The role involves working outdoors with a construction crew and assisting with site preparation, material handling, cleanup, and the installation and assembly of solar components as directed. Employees will learn how solar projects are built and use basic tools and equipment while helping keep the worksite clean, organized, and safe. No solar experience is required, and apprenticeship opportunities are available. The position involves frequent physical activity in indoor and outdoor environments, varying weather conditions, and potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise, and extreme temperatures.
