About The Position

The Solar Install Foreman will establish and maintain high morale while supervising construction crews. This role requires mastery and safety of equipment and materials, and ensuring all necessary inspections are completed. The Foreman will lead and perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) during daily huddle meetings, ensure equipment walk-arounds and pre-operational inspections are routinely completed, and produce highly productive cycle times for labor, equipment, and materials. Additionally, the Foreman will identify and evaluate job cost reduction strategies and collaborate with the Trade Superintendent when issuing conduct warnings to ensure consistency with the employee handbook, jobsite, and company policies.

Requirements

One year of experience supervising or working on a construction crew
Working knowledge of cranes, hand signals and load charts
Able to pass an MVR Check, Background Check, Physical and Drug Test
Willingness to travel and relocate to the jobsite (100% travel with rotations)

Nice To Haves

Extensive working knowledge of all mechanical and electrical aspects of panel installation on solar projects
